About our Priest
- Shri Srinath Gurukkal has over 18 years of experience and is well-versed in krishna yajur vedas, Agama, Puranas, Homas, Poojas, Samskaras and Annual rites. He is fluent in Tamil, Sanskrit and English and can converse in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. He has more experience in performing pooja at various temples in India and the USA, including his recent employment at Meenakshi Amman temple in Houston, TX. He studied siva agama , veda, and thirumurai in sivapuram Veda sivagama padasalai at Mayiladuthurai and got certified his sivagama praveena. He received a bachelor’s degree and Sahithiya Siromani title after studying Sanskrit Sahitya Sastra at Madras Sanskrit College (Madras University) in Mylapore.
